This initiative is helping to reshape the healthcare industry and bolster Cork as a global centre for Data, Automation and Applied Machine Learning. The McKesson Genospace team in Texas have leveraged this Cork-led initiative to introduce a "Patient Matching" use-case for clinical trials. The pilot solution has undergone rigorous benchmarking and is projected to save 8000 person-hours per year. This significant time-saving allows resources to be reallocated to tasks requiring more expertise, thus speeding up the patient matching process and having the potential to save lives. This Genospace Use case is one example of a growing number of use cases leveraging this Cork-led initiative as we advance on our AI journey in McKesson and help improve health outcomes for all.
