
Mastercard works to do well by doing good, convening forums like the Green Software Foundation , Technology, SME and innovation forums. Within the local community Mastercard regularly hosts, drives and contributes to the wider ecosystem by designing and supporting programming for schools and colleges aligned to the programme for Government. Every Mastercard Ireland employee is empowered to spend 5 days a year contributing and delivering charitable and volunteer support in areas like financial inclusion, stem education and across initiatives of their choice.
As a strong advocate for SME’s in Ireland, Mastercard launched its Cybersecurity Toolkit for Small business in partnership with ICT Skillnet and the Global Cyber Alliance in July 2024, and continues to contribute to various initiatives throughout the SME landscape.
Mastercard were winners of the 2024 Women in Tech Initiative of the year and are leading the women in tech chapter for Ireland, as well as driving various networks like connecting women in tech.
Mastercard - Dublin Tech Hub
Mastercard Ireland has undergone exponential growth in terms of building a highly technical and experienced workforce as a leading technology company in the payments industry.
Mastercard’s Dublin Tech Hub is one of just seven globally and Mastercard’s only Tech Hub in Europe, home to their European Innovation Centre. The company has developed its state-of-the-art South County Dublin Campus, which is accredited with LEED and Well certifications, with the Dublin Tech Hub most recently being named an exemplar location as part of Mastercard’s naming as a WorkLife award winner for 2025.
