Barry O’Sullivan
Barry O’Sullivan is currently Chair of the Shannon Estuary Economic Taskforce, a group that will report at year end as part of the programme for government.
He has been a member of the IDA Board since 2015 and currently chairs the Board sub-committee on Innovation and Sustainable Development.
Barry has just completed 20 years with Johnson and Johnson where his final role was as the Vice-President of Manufacturing for the Vision Care division and also as chair of the manufacturing leadership council for the company.
After completing an Engineering degree in UCD, he spent 15 years in manufacturing and engineering roles in Ireland, UK and US for Ranks Hovis McDougall plc, Mars UK Ltd, Tambrands Inc and International Paper Company Inc, prior to joining J&J.
He was also President of AmCham in 2018.
Barry is currently studying for Diplomas in Business and Executive Coaching at UCD and Company Direction at IoD.
