The establishment of ADI Catalyst has also contributed to economic growth and job creation. Analog Devices announced that this initiative would create 250 new jobs by 2025, focusing on the development of software-enabled solutions and artificial intelligence innovations. These positions not only bolster the local economy in Limerick but also enhance the global talent pool in critical technological areas.

Internally, Catalyst fosters gender equity through mentorship and development programs. Early career women are paired with senior leaders who provide guidance and help them progress into leadership roles. ADI’s Women’s Leadership Network (WLN) is also supported through Catalyst, offering a platform for professional development, advocacy, and knowledge-sharing that helps amplify women’s contributions across the company.

This initiative has increased the representation of women in engineering and leadership roles at ADI, while also expanding participation in STEM education through scholarships and outreach programs.

Catalyst has also partnered with universities and organizations to expand opportunities for women in STEM. This includes scholarship programs such as the Robbie McAdam Scholarship and partnerships like the Immersive Software Engineering Programme at the University of Limerick, which provide financial support and mentorship for women pursuing STEM degrees.
